I know this is a problem from the very dawn of time and might be familiar to most people who have played C&C: Red Alert on the PC at some point, but I seem to be having issues with my scroll rate and have tried everything I can search for and think of to fix it, to no avail.
Basically, the scroll rate is far too sensitive and makes the game pretty much unplayable. I have read about enabling back buffer on the video settings to fix it, tried it, didn't work. I tried doing this THEN re-installing it..didn't work either. Patched it..guess what? Didn't work. I have tried almost everything I can think of and i'm getting nowhere with it.
The most annoying aspect of this was that, a few months ago, this wasn't even a problem. I just decided one day last week to play Red Alert over LAN with a mate, and the problem arose out of the blue!

Does anyone know any other way of getting past this annoying little problem, or experienced it themselves? I would be extremely grateful for any help I can get on the matter.
For reference, I am running it on Windows Vista as part of The First Decade collection.
